About the Ball: The 1985 Rawlings Official World Series Baseball, stamped in Blue, Peter Ueberroth, Commissioner. This is the 8th special edition World Series ball.
Interesting side note, some of these baseballs can be found with a small dark blue star shaped stamp on the top panel. What does it mean? It appears to be non-print - or after market stamp, possible a ball that didn't make the cut? Maybe used for warmups or batting practice during the Series?
