About the Ball: The current Gold Glove ball available today at Rawlings and from many retailers. It's believed that this version came out in about 2007. This ball has the stamped facsimile signature of Rawlings president Robert M. Parish. The only other change from the previous ball is a swap of the top and lower panel stamping - same logos and text otherwise.
Clearly these are now made for autograph collectors, not for the Awards dinner - if there even is any awards dinner anymore?
