About the ball: Use unknown. It's a second version of the Spalding National League Multi-Color Laced Frick ball, with red and tan stitching. The Spalding manufacturer's stamp is different than the original version we found.
We still have little information on the game-use and date of these versions, but they are extremely rare. There is likely a 3rd version as well, in addition to one or two Harridge American League Reach baseballs with this red and tan stitching.
