About the Ball: The last type of National League Baseball ever used, Leonard S. Coleman, Jr. stamped.

Major League Baseball dissolved the NL and AL presidents' offices following the '99 season, though Coleman continued in an advisory role for Commissioner Bud Selig.

Note: There is an "updated" version of this final NL ball with the NEW RAWLINGS logo, which was implemented in 2000 (pictured here). These baseballs are believed to be reprints, for commercial use. Perhaps Rawlings forgot to use the old template when stamping the balls?
