BIG LEAGUE BASEBALLS.com | MUSEUM OF BASEBALLS | NATIONAL LEAGUE | Spalding National League GIles 1950s (No Dots)
About the Ball: Spalding National League Warren Giles baseballs. Note: There are no dots below the president stamped signature on the league panel. The majority of Giles era baseballs have the version with two dots under his signature, which he commonly used when signing autographs.
There is currently no explanation for this version of the Giles Spalding NL ball - we're unsure if these made it onto the field in games, or if they're a prototype or misprint.
For now, until we have some form of verification, we'll leave this in the official NL game ball lineup in the Museum.
