About the Ball: Warning - Made in China. Although this means it doesn't meet the requirements for most Official MLB Game Balls, since it has that "plasticky" synthetic cover, we determined it gets a pass. These baseballs were apparently used by the thousands for spring training for a number of years, likely in the early to mid 90s. They likely made it into exhibition games as well.

A cool ball, definitely ahead of its time. The logo, placed on the manufacturer's spot between the seems (this alone making it one-of-a-kind) features a palm tree and a cactus, symbolizing the two primary locations for MLB Spring Training, Florida and Arizona.
