About the Ball: The first World Baseball Classic ball, from 2006. Gold stamping, just like the current MLB World Series Baseballs.
The World Baseball Classic includes many player from Major League Baseball on nearly every country's team that participates in this Winter tournament.
Although the WBC did not directly replace the Japan All-Star Series, (a series of games between MLB stars and Japan Professional stard) the Series has not been held since the Classic began.
