About the Event: The Summer Games took place in Los Angeles, California, and these exhibition games were held at Dodger Stadium. Its the first time a baseball tournament was held as part of the Olympics, though the tournament did not count for medals, according to Wikipedia. Japan defeated the U.S. in the 1st Place game.
Several Major League Baseball players took part, including Mark McGwire, Will Clark and Barry Larkin, to name a few.
