About the Ball: Newly discovered by BigLeagueBaseballs forum members - this is the Phillies 100th Anniversary baseball. This is now the earliest known regular season commemorative to be used in a game. Previously, the 1991 Comsikey Park Inaugural Season ball was though to be the first regular season commemorative (non All-Star, World Series or Japan All-Star Series).
